HESCO is seeking an energetic and highly motivated person to join our Field Service Team.
Requirements include:
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to climb ladders and lift 50#
- Not afraid to work around equipment and get dirty
- Able to work in confined spaces
- Must like variety in work duties
- Be able to function well as a member of a team
- Great attitude and willingness to learn is a must
- Previous experience is a bonus but not required
Hours: 40 hours + overtime

Territory: Mainly work in southern Michigan communities with occasional overnight trips to other locations in Michigan and Ohio
Position Details:
Aside from assisting our clients before and during implementation of their solutions, we continue to provide service well after the project is completed. Our field service capabilities are numerous:
- Installation and commissioning of New Equipment
- Field supervision of third-party installation contractors
- Troubleshooting, repair and preventative maintenance
- Operations and Maintenance Training
- Instrument Calibrations
- Valve, Pump, and Rebuild and Repair
A wide variety of equipment, including valves, gates, chemical feed systems, instrumentation, pumps, flow metering equipment and sampling equipment can be serviced by our department.

As a Project Expeditor, you will work on projects with other team members and build new jobs, check in with the team to receive updates throughout the project’s life, and ensure that milestones and goals are met accurately and on time. You will use Sage Contractor 100 to track a project’s life, budget, and other relevant information. You will be responsible for tracking and organizing financial files, documents, contracts, reports, and invoices in various ways and locations. You will perform administrative tasks, including ordering equipment, invoicing customers, and processing payables.
Responsibilities for Project Expeditor include:
- Build Jobs and Files In Sage Contractor 100
- Specialized paper files
- Server files to make all data available to the team.
- Assist with procurement of equipment, parts, and supplies as needed.
- Analyze data and draw conclusions to make recommendations.
- Develop and produce reports for project staff and stakeholders as needed.
- Inform teammates of project status on an ongoing basis.
- Follow up with customers and suppliers regularly.
- Process project financials, including creating budgets, validating vendor invoices, interpreting billable work, and invoicing projects using Itemized, Progress, and Unitary invoicing methods.
- Ensure technical documentation is properly reviewed, maintained, and made available on time.
- Help to develop and maintain knowledge and skills and keep up-to-date with new processes and procedures.
Qualifications for Project Expeditor may include:
- Experience with Sage Contractor 100 or similar is a plus.
- Requires detail and process-oriented thinking.
- Organization and communication skills are a must.
- Ability to anticipate the needs of others.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and analytical thinking are required.
- Must have experience in invoicing.
- Must have experience creating Purchase Orders.
- Dedication to professionalism and a positive attitude.
- Query or Spreadsheet experience desired.
- Experience generating, interpreting, and printing reports desired.
- Experience with Bid Specifications and Plans/Drawings desired.
- Experience with Sage Contractor 100 or similar is a plus.
Other useful Qualifications:
- Demonstrated leadership skills.
- A collaborator and critical thinker.
- Sound time management and problem-solving skills.
- Education or experience in business, computer science, construction, or engineering.
- Experience with AutoCAD drawings and spreadsheets.
- Experience bookkeeping.
